Let's Talk: A Wellspring Community Conversation, 10/17, 5:30pm to 7pm
How can you help end family homelessness?
Domestic violence is one of the leading causes of family homelessness in Seattle. Join Wellspring Family Services for a conversation with Mark Adams (creator of Wellspring's DV Dads program) about how we can break the cycle one family at a time.
The numbers are daunting: In King County -- right now -- more than 8,400 children and their families are homeless. Risk factors for family homelessness are different than for individuals at risk of homelessness. A leading cause of homelessness for children and families is domestic violence and instability.
How can we end this debilitating cycle for children and families? Come and learn how you can help.
Please note: This is not a fundraiser, rather an opportunity for concerned community members to learn more about the complex issues around family homelessness.
